'Isn't It Lonely?' is a project is centred on my experience of my mental health, particularly over the course of the pandemic and lockdowns and aims to be a self-exploration through photography. The work uses a variety of untraditional techniques including long and multiple exposures and intentional camera movement to recreate the ‘hazy’ feeling that comes with my anxiety; using these techniques formed the blurred and abstracted images that I had envisioned for this body of work. The project still maintains moments of clarity to act as a reflection of the cyclical nature of mental health and the idea that things aren’t always ‘hazy’.

This project was published in Pupil Sphere's Graduate Showcase 2021.
